After celebrating New Year's Eve in London, Prince Harry and rumored fiancé Meghan Markle escaped to Norway on a commercial flight, a source told Us Weekly.

According to the insider, the two visited friend and adventure guide Inge Solheim, staying with him for two nights before heading to Tromvik Lodge, a picturesque Airbnb overlooking the Norwegian Sea.

Originally wanting to go to a warm-weather destination, the couple decided on Norway instead because "they wanted to see the northern lights," the source told US Weekly. "You have to be in the darkest location for the best view."

The pair also went on an orca whale safari, biked, and went husky sledding, according to the source, adding that Markle and Harry "enjoyed lots of good meals!"

Harry met Markle through mutual friend and Soho House Director Markus Anderson about seven months ago, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
