May 21 2018, Updated 7:18 p.m. ET
The world was watching yesterday as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became officially married at St. George’s Chapel inside Windsor Castle. Getting to this point, especially in the week leading up to it, wasn’t easy for her due to the multiple family issues she had to deal with, however her brand new husband had no problem praising her for how she’s handled herself throughout it all at their reception last night.
Their wedding went off without a hitch, as they exchanged “I Will’s” in front of six hundred guests at 1:00 PM local time yesterday.
The days leading up to the wedding, however, were stressful as her father Thomas Markle had to pull out of attending due to undergoing surgery for a recent heart attack. Her mother, Doria Ragland, not only attended but arrived with Meghan to St. George’s Chapel.
Harry let Meghan know just how wonderful she’s been in the entire process, as he reportedly spoke some wonderful words about her during their evening reception at Frogmore House on Saturday night.

Some of the things he reportedly told her during the reception included “You have navigated everything with grace,” “We make such a great team,” and “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
It’s also been rumored that their first dance together as a married couple was to Whitney Houston’s smash hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Now, the future looks very bright for the happy newlyweds as they embark on their journey as husband and wife.
