Prince William and Kate Middleton spent the day with apprentices and graduates of London’s Coach Core program. It trains young people to become coaches and encourages the next generation of athletes. Scroll through to see pictures of their fun-filled day.

The Duke & Duchess were welcomed by a group of excited pariticipants at the event. As OK! readers know, since the arrival of son Prince Louis, they haven't been on joint engagements much. In fact, they're first outing since his August arrival was earlier this month.

Kate was all about the children. She smiled and engaged with them and even patted one girl on the head.

The Duke shook hands with a group lined up outside.

Once inside, things got a bit sporty. The couple participated in a game of Boccia with the group.

Will then delighted the kids as he played with some type of nerf-dart toy.

Meanwhile, Kate showed off her athletic skills with a game of indoor tennis.
