The new fall flavor was first leaked on Instagram by the owner of a Met Food supermarket in Brooklyn, New York. He posted this "sneak peek" of the box, which has a slice of pumpkin pie on the cover.

A lot of people on the internet couldn't handle the good news. "PSA: PUMPKIN SPICE FROSTED FLAKES ARE COMING TO STORES IN SEPTEMBER ," one user wrote, along with a pumpkin, applause, and hearts-with-eyes emoji.

"THANK GOD," another fan of the new pumpkin spice treat wrote.

"New Kellogg's Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes has a warm pumpkin spice frosting that coats golden, crunchy toasted flakes," a representative from Kellogg's told TODAY Food. "This tasty cereal has caramelized pumpkin aromatics delivering brown sweet cinnamon and a touch of allspice and ginger."

The new limited edition cereal will be released in August, just in time for pumpkin spice season.
