Rachael Leigh Cook & Daniel Gillies Announce Separation After 15 Years Of Marriage

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies have ended their relationship after almost 15 years of marriage. The actors released a joint statement on June 13 announcing their split.
“With deep gratitude for every year we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” Rachael, 39, and Daniel, 43, wrote on their Instagram accounts.
The joint statement continued, “This decision isn’t one we have come to easily or lightly. We love and respect each other as parents, people and artists and look forward to maintaining the best parts of our relationship for many years to come.”
The couple share two children: daughter Charlotte Easton and son Theodore Vigo Sullivan.

The She’s All That actress and The Originals actor told their followers, “Your discretion in this matter is kindly requested for the sake of our children during this time of transition. Thank you to those of you who are already aware; for your tremendous compassion and understanding.”
They ended their message to fans, “Lots of love, Rachael and Daniel.”
Rachael and Daniel got married in 2004 after less than a year of dating.
