Rami Malek may be winning tons of acting awards lately, but Rachel Bilson definitely has her hands on the one for "best throwback picture!" On Thursday, January 31, the O.C. alum took to social media to share the ultimate throwback photo of her and Rami from high school! Scroll through to get all the details.
While plenty of us keep in contact with our friends from high school, they usually don't end up being Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG award winners like Rami, 37.
Rachel, also 37, who has clearly watched the Bohemian Rhapsody actor rise to his fame while pursuing her own career over the years, proudly posted an epic photo from their high school days.
"Hey @ramimalek where’d you get that gold chain? #tbt #oscarworthy #dontforgetthelittlepeople," the Hart of Dixie star wrote.
In the photo the pair is embracing in a hug as Rami rocks a spiked-gel hairstyle and a gold chain. Rachel is seen grinning with her bare face and naturally curly hair.
Rachel's post comes just in time for awards season. While Rami has already snagged an Emmy for his role in Mr. Robot in 2016, his latest successes are due to his role in Bohemian Rhapsody as Freddie Mercury.
The actor has already won a Golden Globe for Best Actor and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody. The star was also nominated for an Oscar in the Lead actor category for Bohemian Rhapsody — to be decided at the ceremony on February 24.
