When Rachel Lindsay said she has a thing for athletes, on the most recent episode of The Bachelorette, she wasn’t lying! According to Us Weekly, the Dallas lawyer had more than just “a thing” with Golden Sate Warrior Kevin Durant (for the non-sports fans, he’s a BIG BIG deal in the NBA), back in college! #RealLifeLove&Basketball.
A source told the mag, Rachel and Kevin dated while attending the University of Texas at Austin.
“They broke up when she went to law school,” dished the insider, before adding that while they split amicably, “it was a pretty serious relationship.”

Both Kevin and Rachel have seemingly struggled to find love since their break-up, as Kevin called off his engagement to WNBA star Monica Wright back in 2015 (and has since been linked to numerous women) and most recently, Rachel had the rug pulled from underneath her when Nick Viall gave her the boot on The Bachelor..
However, Rachel looks to have finally found her Mr. right as she recently revealed that she’s engaged to one of her Bachelorette contestants and is “very much so in love.”
