The pair dined at Odys + Penelope Brazilian Restaurant, where they laughed and caught up.
But despite reports that they've been dating since last June when they began filming their new movie, Southpaw, sources now claim that Rachel and Jake are just friends and that the dinner date was merely platonic.

Rachel's most recent high-profile relationship was with Michael Sheen, with whom she split in 2013, and Jake dated model Alyssa Miller for a while before they called it quits last year.
Rachel and Jake's joint film project, Southpaw, hits theaters this July, which means they'll be spending a lot of time together on the press tour leading up to it. Perhaps then a romance will bloom?
