Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps is trying to make amends. During the May 15 episode, the cabaret singer attempted to apologize to Bethenny Frankel for making her snarky “Queen Bee” comment during their wild Berkshires trip. However, Bethenny wasn't quite willing to let her castmate slide.
“I think I’ve done everything I possibly could to be a good person and a good friend,” Bethenny, 48, told her.
“I want that to continue,” Luann, 53, responded. “Because I want this to be a friendship which I can trust and you have been there for me in a big way.”
A visibly shocked Bethenny corrected her. “But it’s not the friendship you can trust, it needs to be the friendship I can trust,” she said. “Because I have been straight up, 100.”
“Well it needs to go both ways, obviously,” Luann said.

“My way is going though,” Bethenny told her.
During her confessional interview, Luann accused Bethenny of her lording her assistance over her. “I feel like Bethenny helping me has given her the right to use a ‘get out of jail free’ card,” she explained. “I’ll always be grateful to her but I just feel like she’s overusing the card.”
However, Bethenny told Luann that all of her snide but seemingly harmless comments, including Luann referring to her as “Queen Bee” during her “fish room” meltdown, hurt her feelings.
“I’m not asking for a fruit basket. I’m asking for the baseline respect,” Bethenny said before warning her, “These little digs all add up to something that’s not good.”
