The If Beale Street Could Talk actress, 48, was sitting courtside during the game Wednesday, February 13,when the 7-foot athlete went after a loose ball and wound up flying into the stands — right over her head!
Actor Tracy Morgan was just seats away from it all.
Joel landed on an MSG Network statistician instead.

The Oscar nominee shared a clip of the near collision in slow motion on Twitter. "Yoooo. Thank you God and @JoelEmbiid for your athletic abilities. Crisis averted," she wrote.
After the game the NBA star said, "It's good that I saved her life, I guess, but someone else had to, like, take that. I'm sorry about that."
