Peter was previously married to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey. They married in 2010 and decided to divorce in 2016.

Cynthia has been dating boyfriend Mike Hill since October 2018. She recently spoke to OKMagazine.com about her own possible engagement. Her ESPN anchor boyfriend semi-proposed to her on the RHOA season 11 finale.
