Ariana Grande may have Kandi Burruss to thank for some of the songs on her highly anticipated new album, Thank You, Next. On January 22, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star implied on Instagram that she helped write songs on the “7 Rings” singer’s latest record.
Shortly after Ariana posted her 12-song tracklist on Instagram, Kandi reposted it to her own account. She captioned the picture, “I’m forever thankful for my blessings.”
Kandi also announced the Thank U, Next album would be released on February 8.
The RHOA star chose not to make new music with her former R&B group Xscape in 2018, but it seems as though she hasn’t given up on her musical endeavors!

Ariana didn’t respond to Kandi’s post, but she also hasn’t shied away from the fact that she had several writers collaborate with her on the upcoming album. On January 19 she tweeted, “I wouldn’t have made this celebratory bop or feel ‘okay’ these days without my brilliant, gentle and funny friends who get me drunk, write songs with me & help me heal.”
She continued, “I am tremendously grateful for you. Please support them in their art.” Ariana then tagged her friends, Tayla Parx, Victoria Monét, NJOMZA, and Kaydence.
