'RHOA' Star Kenya Moore Opens Up About Emotional IVF Journey With Tamron Hall
Kenya Moore is a strong advocate for In Vitro Fertilization and spoke about her experiences on Tamron Hall's eponymous talk show on Monday, September 16. The two women are fellow IVF users and supporters and shared their emotional journeys on the couch.
Tamron turned 49 on September 16 and she dedicated the entire episode to the topic of IVF and how it helped her and her husband conceive their son Moses. The four-month-old even made an appearance on his mom's show and sported a cute “Happy Birthday” bow tie. Tamron gave birth to her first child in April 2019.
As OK! readers know, Kenya, 48, received IVF and gave birth to daughter Brooklyn on November 4, 2018 with husband Marc Daly. She discussed that she had several pregnancy complications due to fibroids, an abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman's uterus. She delivered her child early due to pre-eclampsia and was originally set to give birth on Thanksgiving.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star also dished about her partnership with the nonprofit foundation, BabyQuest Foundation, which provides IVF treatment grants to families in need. The Bravo celeb even brought out Marc and Brooklyn onto the show!
But Kenya wasn't the only Real Housewife who talked about her experiences with IVF. Real Housewives of Orange County's Gretchen Rossi and her fiancé Slade Smiley were also guests on Tamron's show.

Gretchen, 40, and Slade conceived their daughter Skylar Gray through IVF. Gretchen started treatments when she was 36-years-old and underwent five rounds of therapy before giving birth to Skylar in July 2019. She welcomed her daughter via C-section. Gretchen and Slade found out they were having a girl in February.
Slade revealed he reversed his vasectomy as part of the process to have a child.
The couple are also strong proponents of making In Vitro Fertilization more affordable for all and have partnered with Senator Cory Booker to fight for cheaper fertility treatments.
