Peter Thomas ended his six-day stint in jail on March 6. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta husband of Cynthia Bailey took to Instagram and expressed gratitude for getting out! Peter was released after he paid $4,000 for a check that bounced in Louisiana.
Peter, 58, told his followers, “Hey Instagram world, I cannot sleep because I’m still f**ked up over the last six days.”
He continued, “But you know what? I feel so blessed to be in my bed tonight, that I can get up and go take a shower, the restroom, the refrigerator, the balcony to go look outside, and I don’t have to ask permission to.”
Peter also gave a shout out to his girlfriend Toni. “Baby, I was trying to Facetime you but I know you’re tired and you’re sleeping,” he said.
He also shared a clip of the sun rising in Miami and said, “It’s a beautiful world.”
Peter was arrested on March 1 for allegedly writing fraudulent checks. The former reality star was taken into custody after a warrant was issued from Louisiana. The St. John the Baptist Parish District Attorney's Office dropped the case on March 6 after Peter paid $4,000 to cover the bounced check.
