Denise Richards is remembering her mother. On Sunday, July 21, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star penned a heartbreaking tribute to her late mom Joni in honor of her birthday.
Denise, 48, shared an Instagram snap of Joni with one of her pals.
“Today is my late mom’s birthday ... Joni (on the right) next to her best friend Diane who passed away Jan of the same cancer as my mom,” Denise wrote.
“I know they’re up there having a bit of a party celebrating together & catching up,” she continued. “Happy birthday mom not a day goes by that I don’t think about you.”
Denise’s RHOBH costars Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley and Lisa Rinna all left supportive comments.
Joni died in November 2007 after a long battle with kidney cancer. She was 54 years old.
At the time, Denise, her young daughters, and her father Irv, held a two-week hospital bedside vigil during Joni’s final days.
The Wild Things star gave her youngest daughter Eloise the middle name Joni in her honor.
