What does Eileen Davidson have up her sleeve? She teased a ‘fun project’ on Instagram on Thursday, September 5, that left fans wondering if she's returning to either The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or The Young and the Restless.
“Interview for fun project coming soon!” Eileen, 60, captioned a snap of her on set. “Stay tuned!!” The mother-of-one looked stunning in a black and white long-sleeved dress with no jewelry.
“Good luck!” Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd wrote in the comments section. “Anything you’re doing I’m watching,” lifestyle expert Kym Douglas also chimed in.
Other followers thought differently about her cryptic Instagram message and believed this was her way of saying that she’s coming back to RHOBH or Y&R.
“Hopefully a return to RHOBH,” one fan wrote. “OMG that would be epic!!!” another wrote in response to their thought.
“You need to come back to Y&R,” another follower said. “Or anything on TV. We miss you.” Fans also thought she might be reviving her role as Kristen DiMera on the NBC soap Days of our Lives.

Eileen has kept mum about the details surrounding her upcoming assignment. However, she has been promoting another project over the past couple of weeks that she’s worked on with her husband Vincent Van Patten.
They acted in a film called 7 Days to Vegas which will be released digitally on Sunday, September 15. The soap opera legend pulled a massive stunt on her Instagram followers when she posted a video of her jumping into a pool in a little black dress and heels screaming, “Show me the money!” as a way to promote the movie.
Eileen rejoining RHOBH in any capacity would make sense seeing as the current cast is shooting for the upcoming 10th season. Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Denise Richards, Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna and newbie Garcelle Beauvais have been spotted filming the show throughout New York City over the past couple of days.
The Daytime Emmy winner has also made guest appearances on Y&R over the past couple of months but has remained adamant on not returning to the show full-time.
