Real Housewives of Beverly Hills vet Kyle Richards and newbie Denise Richards have one major thing in common… their last name. Read on to find out if that’s just a coincidence or if these two are related in any sort of way.
Denise, 48, is the third RHOBH castmate with the last name Richards (Kyle’s sister Kim was the other).
So are they by chance related at all? Turns out they aren’t, but Kyle, 50, and Denise do have quite a long history with one another.
“11 years ago, I was part of this ‘Hollywood moms’ group,” Kyle said during the RHOBH Season 9 premiere. “It was Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards, Ali Landry, myself, Alison Sweeney, and we would get together now and then.

“Everyone would bring a potluck, whatever their favorite dessert was, and that’s how I got to know Denise originally.”
Kim, 54, and Denise, don’t have the same relationship as the Wild Things actress has with Kyle.
“I don’t know her, I’ve just seen her, but I felt like, ‘Okay, so I didn’t come back, so bring on another Richards. Add it to the list,’ ” she told PEOPLE last August, adding: “I think she’s beautiful and I wish them all the luck.”
