Denise Richards wedding to Aaron Phypers wasn’t without its drama behind the scenes. Tensions ran high between Lisa Vanderpump and several of her costars as the #puppygate scandal continued to drive a wedge between them. Read on for all the details.
Camille Grammer’s 50th birthday bash took place before Denise, 48, and Aaron’s, 46, nuptials. It was the first time all the ladies had been together since their trip to the Bahamas.
It was also the first time that Teddi Mellencamp and Lisa, 58, came face to face since the mother-of-three’s involvement in #puppygate was exposed.
Teddi, 37, took the opportunity to apologize to Dorit Kemsley (whose dog Lucy Lucy Apple Juice was given away after it nipped at her husband PK) for the part she played in it. Dorit, 42, accepted her apology and hoped LVP would do the same later in the evening.
Lisa didn’t. “I want to move on from it. I’ve seen the texts… It’s all clear to me…” LVP said.

Teddi then asked LVP what was “clear” to her. “You were guilty by omission,” Lisa explained. “You sat there when (the ladies) were asked, ‘Who said bring the dog forward?’ (in the Bahamas two weeks prior. And I saw the texts! I was shocked.”
The accountability coach went in on Lisa about her alleged involvement in #puppygate. Many of the other women, notably Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards, believed that LVP wanted Teddi to have the information about Dorit just to stir things up between them.
When Lisa arrived at Denise’s wedding, and saw Dorit and Teddi there, she wasn’t happy “I’m not thrilled to see the other women, and after Camille’s birthday, I hope that there’s not a repeat of the kind of intense animosity that transpired there.”
