Teddi Mellencamp Is Worried About Having More Kids After Her Miscarriages — 'I Just Went Inside A Shell'

Teddi Mellencamp graced the red carpet of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season premiere party on Tuesday, February 12, and gave OK! an update on her family life. She revealed details about having multiple miscarriages, the emotional toll it had on her and if she's ready to have more kids. Read on to find out what she had to say.

The 37-year-old opened up about her health struggles when it comes to being pregnant. "I had multiple miscarriages with before I had my son which was really hard for me. I had to go through the process multiple times to harvest my eggs. Sometimes I would get pregnant, sometimes I wouldn't get pregnant, then I'd have miscarriages and then I got really sad. It was really tough."

So would the RHOBH star want to add more kiddies to her brood? "For me I had to go through IVF so it's a struggle for me. My business is great, kids are great, my marriage is great right now. I'm a little bit worried about having to go down that road again," she said.

The self-proclaimed "accountability coach" is a mother to son Cruz and daughter Slate, whom she shares with husband Edwin Arroyave.

Teddi also gave some sound advice for women going through the same struggles. "The biggest thing I would say is talk about it," she said.

She added, "Even though there was nothing I could do. I wish I would have talked about it more and talked about it with my husband, but I was still closed off because I was hurting that I feel like if I would have spoken about it, we've been able to feel better and that's what I talk about it so openly now to other women so that they know they're not alone. This is a common thing that happens to a lot of us."
