Heather Drops A MAJOR ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Bombshell! — Read Dubrow’s Statement Here!

After five seasons of glitz, glam, and a boatload of drama, Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow confesses she is quitting the show.

"After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past five years have been an incredible journey and I'm so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture," Dr. Terry Dubrow's wife dished out to The Daily Dish.

So why is the reality star saying goodbye to RHOC?  “My oldest kids are now teenagers, and I just felt like they need to make their own decision about being on television and exposing their lives, and for me personally, I have some really cool, interesting opportunities that I want to explore. I don’t know where they’re going to go, but I want the opportunity to explore them,” she shared in her podcast Heather Dubrow's World.

And the reality star is forever grateful as she reminisces on her time on the show. "It is a little bittersweet. I am a little sad, a little nervous, a little excited. This show has been incredible for my family. . . It was not an easy decision and I am so grateful. I will miss the girl's trips. We went to Costa Rica, we went to Bali, we went to Mexico, we went to Ireland. Of course there is drama, but we laughed a lot. This has turned me into more of an adventurous person. . .  I will miss the girls."

“But I have to say, given the climate of what’s going on with the cast, I would probably have to think about it a little bit. My knee-jerk reaction is I want to come back, yes. I would absolutely love to come back for season 12,” Heather told ET.
