Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson painfully opened up about how she "almost died" after suffering 5 miscarriages in 4 years.

She discussed her painful journey on the latest episode of the hit Bravo series.

Emily talked about the possibility of having another child during a conversation with her mother-in-law Pary. “Your body may not be able to handle it. You almost died. We had to call 911!," Pary exclaimed.

“It was very difficult for me to have children," Emily said. "Over the course of four years I had five miscarriages. Then Shane and I decided to do in vitro and I carried twins until four months. I went into labor and I lost them.”

“I remember laying in a hospital bed needing a blood transfusion because I lost so much blood," she continued. " I remember thinking to myself, ‘Wow this is what it feels like to die'".

“I can picture the hospital room. I can picture the lights. I can picture the nurses they are all crying." Emily later on revealed that Shane is not on board with having another child. The three kids that she and her hubby share with one another were all born via surrogate.
