Emily Simpson was thrown for a loop when someone asked if she and her husband Shane was getting a divorce. The Real Housewives of Orange County star set the record straight about their marriage on her Instagram.

Emily, 43, shared an Instagram snap of her and Shane on vacation in Mexico.
One of her followers brought up the divorce rumors in the comments section.
“I thought you two were getting divorced,” they wrote. Emily quickly got them in check. “No. Never. You have me confused.”

Some of Emily’s fans pointed out that they may them mixed up with her RHOC costar Gina Kirschenheiter.
Gina filed for divorce from her estranged husband Matthew in April 2018.
Emily spoke about her life with Shane earlier this year. “We’ve been married ten years,” she told Gina, 34. “There’s ups and there’s downs, that’s what marriage is all about. You’ll see a lot of ups and downs but at the end of the day we’re committed and we’ll make it work.”
The longtime couple celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in February.
