Emily Simpson lashed out at her body-shamers in an expletive-filled rant on Instagram on Saturday, July 20. The Real Housewives of Orange County star slammed them after she was accused of photoshopping her season 14 promo pic.
Emily, 43, shared a set of two photos on Instagram, each with its own purpose.
“For you a**holes out there who feel the need to make derogatory comments on my figure ‘photoshopped to look like 50 pounds were taken off’ in reference to the Season 14 #rhoc promo pic.... here’s the raw, untouched photo taken with my iPhone by my makeup artist,” she exclaimed.
The mother-of-three first posted a photo of herself posing in a skintight blue dress. “Looks exactly the same to me!” she said. “This dress is a size medium.”
’I’m not sure if you all know this but I’m a woman, I have curves and they are frickin' hot and amazing ...but I’m also a human and I have feelings too,” Emily continued. “Why so many of you feel the need to say downright mean, cruel and vicious things… I truly will never understand it.”

“So for all you mean-spirited, cruel and vicious jerks out there... please SWIPE left and kiss my unretouched perfect A**!” she wrote. In the second photo she posted, Emily posed with her hand on her hip and wore a black bodysuit that highlighted her curves.
“Don’t pay attention to the a**holes,” Emily’s RHOC costar Tamra Judge wrote in the comments section. She also received supportive words from fellow Housewives like Gretchen Rossi and D’Andra Simmons.
Emily has slammed her body-shamers multiple times since joining RHOC last year. Their horrible words, including calling her a “fat a**”, made her break down in tears during the show’s reunion in November 2018.
She has remained resilient and open about her body struggles amid the backlash she continues to receive.
