Gina Kirschenheiter is doing her best to move past the alleged domestic violence incident with estranged husband Matthew. The Real Housewives of Orange County star decided to undergo a massive transformation on Tuesday, July 23, that she partially described as “back to being me.”
Gina, 35, debuted her new look on Instagram.
She went back to her original hairstyle after going platinum earlier this summer.
“Blondes do have more fun but I’m not meant to be platinum!” she captioned. “Fun while it lasted but back to being me.”
Gina’s RHOC costars Emily Simpson and Tamra Judge gushed over the hairdo in the comments section. “Omg. I love,” the Cut Fitness owner wrote.
The mother-of-three appeared upbeat after a chaotic month.

She filed a protective order against her husband Matthew, 35, on Monday, June 24, two days after he allegedly threatened to kill her during a blowout fight.
Gina’s lawyer was scolded by the judge handling their case when she decided to skip out on a court hearing on Wednesday, July 16. Matt, however, was present.
Her temporary restraining order against Matthew was extended until both of them return to court on August 14, 2019.
The reality star is also “freaking out” about her finances after Matthew lost his job in the wake of his domestic assault case. "She really doesn’t have any other source of income and it is really expensive to live in Orange County, especially for a single mother like she is,” a source told RadarOnline.com on Wednesday, July 17.
