New mommy Gretchen Rossi is not one to be played with. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star flipped out on her haters after they slammed her for not posting any photos of her newborn daughter Skylar Gray just yet.
Fans left several disparaging remarks about Gretchen, 40, days after she welcomed Skylar into the world with fiancé Slade Smiley on Wednesday, July 10.
They criticized her for going silent on social media after being part of her pregnancy journey for several months. “Posts every single day of pregnancy about baby,” one wrote on Instagram. “Baby is born and no post. Like really?”
Gretchen clapped back at them over a series of angry Instagram stories on Wednesday, July 16, where she described the difficulties of giving birth and how hurt she is by the hate she’s received.
“I got back on my social today for the first time in six days after having major abdominal surgery and bringing a new life into this world, and I have to say I was not only shocked by some of the comments on my last post but super hurt and disappointed by some of your guys’ attitude about how I have not shared pictures quite yet, and the attitude that I owe you for something,” she began. “First let’s be clear: I don’t owe any of you who are making these ridiculous comments anything.”
“Second I was in the hospital recovering from a major surgery for 4 days and 3 nights, was in a ton of pain because of what has to happen during surgery… not to mention all the while being a brand new first time Mom and having to take care of a newborn, and learning how to breastfeed… all the while being emotional and physically exhausted.”

“I have to say it was honestly one of the most difficult things I have ever had to navigate,” she continued. “So I was certainly in no way thinking about or concerned about posting on my social media.”
Gretchen also added that she wanted to spend quality time with her newborn child, which she called being “a good Mom!”
“So if you are just going to be a hater and make ridiculous, rude, or false comments about why I haven’t posted yet then get off my page!!” Gretchen exclaimed. “My number one focus is that of my daughter and her well-being and also my well-being so I can be the best breastfeeding Mommy I can be.”
“So thank you to all the other thousands of messages of love and support,” she wrote before finishing with “However if you are a hater then you can go suck it.”
