Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds was dealt a major blow recently when her dog Layla died. Read on for all the details.
Meghan tearfully opened up about Layla’s death on her Instagram Stories Friday.
The mother-of-two revealed that she unfortunately had to put Layla down.
“She had cancer and couldn’t breathe,” she explained. “She was such a good girl.”

Meghan also shared on IG that Layla was “born on the Fourth of July and lived 11 1/2 rambunctious, anxious, loving, destructive, cuddly, leash-pulling years.
She’s posted several photos of her with Layla over the years on social media, where she gushed over her precious girl each and every time.
The former reality star still has a ton of love around her after Layla’s passing, including her 2-year-old daughter Aspen and twin sons Hayes and Hart. Her boys just turned 7-months-old two weeks ago.
“She left us on a Friday so she could have the whole weekend to party in heaven,” Meghan wrote in another photo of Layla taken before she passed. “I loved her so much and I will miss her forever.”
