Ryan Culberson and his mother-in-law Vicki Gunvalson didn't always have the best of relationships. The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently dished on where he's at with her after a fan questioned him over how they operate as family members today.
"Do you and Vicki have a good relationship?" a fan asked on one of Ryan's Instagram posts.
"As good as an alpha female and male can I believe," he responded. "We're both hard headed but I think we've figured out how to have as good of a relationship as we can."
Vicki, 57, and Ryan's relationship got off to a rocky start when he married her daughter Briana Culberson at a drive-thru in Vegas. They told the Coto Insurance owner about it on an episode of RHOC, much to her annoyance.

They had a second wedding in May 2012 when Briana, 31, was four months pregnant with her first son. Vicki and her ex-husband Donn Gunvalson attended that one.
Things are so good between Ryan and Vicki that she invited him for a trip to NYC last week. The "OG of the OC" was there to be a guest on the Jerry O Show alongside Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador.
Ryan even joked that he was retiring from being Vicki's bodyguard while they were in The Big Apple.
