Shannon Beador and Emily Simpson have never been the best of friends on The Real Housewives of Orange County. It appears nothing much has changed after the QVC personality slammed her in a recent interview.
Shannon, 55, chatted exclusively with US Magazine on Friday, August 9, about Emily, 43, and the show's new season.
The longtime RHOC star seemed to be confused over why she and Emily aren't closer friends.
"You’d probably have to ask Emily that question, and she’d come up with some cockamamie answer,” she answered.
“I mean, I called her. She said to me all last season, ‘Where’s Fun Shannon? I wanna see Fun Shannon.’ And my question right back is, well, where’s Fun Emily? Because I don’t see a lot of fun. And this year, I don’t see that much fun either.”

"I don’t mean to be cruel to her, but you know, if you’re going to say that I’m not fun, like, look at yourself too,” she added.
Emily trashed Shannon along with Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge (the Tres Amigas) in a separate interview last week.
"You know, I don't know, I'm just going to group them all together and say the Tres Amigas," she said on The Domenick Nati Show on Sunday, August 4, after being asked who is the least trustworthy RHOC cast member. "I think those three are just out for themselves."
Shannon never really forged a bond with Emily during her debut RHOC season last year. She had a similarly adversarial relationship with fellow newbie Gina Kirschenheiter.
