Teresa Giudice Cheers on Daughter Gia at High School Graduation Ceremony as Family Awaits Deportation Decision

June 20 was a momentous occasion for the Giudice family. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa’s oldest daughter Gia graduated from high school. The proud mother, 47, shared Instagram pictures and videos of the biggest moments of the ceremony while sitting with daughters Gabriella, Milania and Audriana in the crowd, from the procession in to the graduation cap tossing.
Gia, 18, beamed throughout the ceremony, and her family clapped and cheered especially loud when the graduate walked across the stage upon her name getting called.
Her graduation cap was decorated in red paper with white flowers, with a rhinestone “R U READY,” referring to the next step of her education.
Teresa and her daughters continued celebrating after the ceremony at a restaurant, which she shared pictures of a delicious dinner on her Instagram story.

Even though the evening was exciting and special, Joe Giudice, Teresa’s husband and Gia’s father, was missing out on the important night, just as the RHONJ star feared.
This momentous occasion occurred the day after Teresa opened up about her growing concern of Joe’s potential deportation. “He’s going to be missing out on so much,” she lamented.
If Joe gets deported, Gia’s high school graduation is the first of many events he won’t experience with his family. He currently resides in an ICE facility in Pennsylvania, where he awaits a final decision.
According to reports, the Giudice family attorney is “grateful that the court has granted the stay…Joe looks forward to continuing this fight to the very end. There is nothing more important to him than returning home to his wife and kids.” With any luck, Joe will see Gia off at Rutgers later this year.
