Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer got quizzed about everything from her financial situation to her relationship with ex Scott Kluth on the season 11 finale of the series. She decided to clear up all the speculation on The Real Housewives of New York After Show.
Tinsley, 43, appeared on camera with her mother Dale Mercer and offered a perfectly good answer to her costar's inquiries about how she affords expensive designer clothes without Scott's financial help.
"I have — thank you, Mommy — family money, thank you, which is nice. But also if they're going to put it on this, I don't have a child that I pay for ... Also, they have mortgages and houses. I'm just a single girl on my own," she explained.
Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley weren't buying Tinsley's story that she relies solely on her inheritance.

"What do we have to do everyday when we get up to support ourselves? We have to go to a thing called a job and get a thing called a paycheck. Usually with those paychecks you can't buy $3000 and $4000 worth of clothing at a shop and live in a $15,000 a month hotel," her costars said during the interview.
Tinsley swears she's done with the wealthy Coupon Cabin CEO and is actually "dating a couple people right now," but both Sonja and Dorinda think there's some sort of arrangement between the former couple.
"My guess, my gut, would be that she stays quiet about him, she doesn't say anything bad about him, she doesn't disparage his reputation, she keeps their relationship secret and says they're broken up, and if they're broken up, we won't talk about him, and in return he keeps the credit card open," Dorinda said.
