Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels is officially a mom of three! The reality star and her husband former Washington Redskins player Chris Samuels welcomed a son on November 26.
Under a sweet slideshow of her and her family holding the newborn she announced, “Chase Omari Samuels born 1 week early (today) at 4:56pm weighing 8lbs 15oz 21” long! Thank God for a safe and fast delivery and one healthy baby boy!!!! Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers.”
The couple is already parents to a another son Christopher, 5, and a daughter Milani, 3, and she told E! News that her older kids were totally enthused about the new addition to their family. She said “they are excited and could not wait to hold their baby brother."
The birth of little Chase comes almost a year after Monique suffered a miscarriage. During season 3 of RHOP, she got open and honest about her experience. She told viewers at the time, “As soon as I took the pregnancy test, Chris was grinning from ear to ear. And it never once dawned on me that we would lose it. Until you’ve experienced loss, it’s hard to even put it into words, you know?”
Back in July, she opened up about how the tragedy shaped her latest pregnancy. She told People, “It kind of haunts you. The first times I was pregnant, it came so easily. I took that for granted. Now that I’m pregnant again, it’s almost like I second guess everything that I’m doing. Even with movement. I’m making sure I’m not moving too fast so I stretch my stomach. It’s something I didn’t think about with my first two pregnancies.”
She even waited until she was out of her first trimester before sharing her baby news. “We just wanted to be sure,” she explained.
