Ricki Lake recently revealed that she is dating again almost two years after she lost her late husband, Christian Evans, from suicide. Scroll through to find out about her new love.
Ricki, 50, revealed that the two-year anniversary of Christian's death is coming up on February 11. She shared the news at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, California.
“My husband, who passed from mental illness and suicide, it’ll be two years on Feb. 11,” she said of her second husband, who struggled with bi-polar disorder, “and I just recently found a brilliant new love.”
The former Hairspray star is currently dating the founder of clothing brand One Golden Thread, Jeff Scult.
The couple reportedly met through a mutual friend. “We’ve been together for three-and-a-half months. He’s making me really happy,” Ricki gushed.
In January 2019, the actress took to Instagram to share a fun photo of her new boyfriend. "This is what happy looks like," she wrote.
