‘Riverdale’ Cast Honors Luke Perry With The Sweetest Tribute As They Kick Off Filming Season 4

After the heartbreaking loss of Luke Perry, the Riverdale cast returned to work and paid tribute to their beloved costar.
On July 8, Mädchen Amick shared a group selfie on Instagram of the cast and writers of the hit CW show at a table read.
She captioned the post, “Here was nothing but love, memories and mourning for our beloved Luke as we honor him in our first episode back.“
Joining her in the picture were Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camilla Mendes, Camilla Mendes, KJ Apa and the show’s creator Roberto Aguierre-Sacasa.

The showrunner revealed in June on Twitter that the first episode of the fourth season would be titled, “In Memoriam” as a heartfelt tribute to Luke.
The actor passed away on Monday, March 4 at 52 years old after suffering from a massive stroke.
Riverdale is set to return for its fourth season to the CW on October 9.
