Although it's already been a few days since Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse's breakup was announced, some of their Riverdale costars are not aware of the shocking news. In a recent interview, Mark Consuelos was asked about the split and admitted he had no idea there was any trouble in paradise!
After being asked about Lili, 22, and Cole's breakup on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday, Mark, 48, said, "Is that true?"
"That's what is being reported," Andy, 51, who is a longtime friend of the actor and his wife Kelly Ripa, said.
"I have — you know I've been gone from Vancouver for about ten days so I have no idea what's going on over there," Mark said, referring to Riverdale's main filming location.
"I just kind of always knew that they were together. When I joined the show it was already a thing. I came on the second season so I don't know what happened the first season," he added of the "surprising" breakup.
An insider told E! News that Lili and Cole, 26, had a "very messy breakup" and are "currently on much better terms" but are "not living together" as they film the fourth season of Riverdale.
"Right now it's unclear where things stand," the source added of the former couple who seemed happy and cordial at Comic Con on Sunday, July 21. "But it seems they could be heading back in the direction of getting together."
