Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart broke up five years ago, so when the two were spotted hanging out together in L.A. over the weekend, fans freaked out over the long-awaited reunion.
“Kristen stewart? And Robert pattinson? Hanging out? In 2018? What the eff? Y’ALL I AM SHOOK lmao,” one person tweeted.
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at the same party hanging out with the same friends in 2018 I thought this day it would never come, my shipper game is stronger than ever,” another fan wrote.
Some fans used gifs to express the reactions they simply couldn’t put into words. “Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart were photographed together for the 1st time in 5 years and my inner Twihard is really showing,” wrote one fan alongside a gif of Emma Stone freaking out.

Kristen and Robert dated for years after first meeting on the set of the Twilight films. Kristen was later caught kissing her married Snow White direct Rupert Sanders in July 2012 in pics published by Us Weekly. She and Robert split for good in May 2013. She has since dated St. Vincent and Stella Maxwell, and Robert broke off his engagement to FKA twigs in October 2017.
