On-Air Personality Delilah Goes Radio Silent Following The Suicide Of Her Son

Just five years after the tragic death of her son Sammy to sickle cell anemia, nationally syndicated radio star Delilah has suffered another loss—this time her 18-year-old son Zachariah.
On Saturday, the popular romance radio host took to her Facebook page to announce that her son Zachariah had committed suicide.
“He was being treated, counseled, and embraced fiercely by family and friends while battling depression for some time now,” she wrote.
Immediately following the post, Delilah received an outpouring of condolences from more than 100,000 followers.

“I have no words to express how sorry I am for your loss,” one follower posted.
The mother of 13 wrote that she plans to be out of the public eye during this difficult time. “I will be absent from the radio and on social media for a time as I grieve and try to process this loss with my family.”
