Ronnie Ortiz-Magro wished his ex Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola nothing but happiness on her engagement to Christian Biscardi. The Jersey Shore star opened up about his ex-girlfriend's new man and how he felt when he heard the news.

Ronnie, 33, revealed his thoughts on the happy couple in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“You know, God bless her,” he said. “I’m glad that she found happiness. I’m glad that we’ve all found happiness, you know? We’re very lucky.”

Sammi, 32, and Ronnie dated on and off for eight years before splitting up for good in 2014. Much of their rocky relationship was documented on Jersey Shore throughout the years.

She announced her engagement to Christian in March 2019 after almost two years of dating.

Sammi shared a photo of her fiancé on one knee and captioned it, “I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness. Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate. ❤️ I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.”

Ronnie subsequently moved on to Jen Harley, with whom he shares a daughter named Ariana Sky. Ronnie's on-and-off girlfriend was arrested last month for domestic battery in Las Vegas. The two broke up after having a fight over New Year's in January. She also allegedly punched the reality star in the face and attacked him with her phone last year.
