Rosamund Pike has been extremely busy in London today, October 12, as she spoke at the BBC Radio Two Studios about her upcoming film A Private War. In the film, Rosamund plays the celebrated war journalist Marie Colvin. Considering such a powerful role, it’s no surprise she later attended a larger celebration for women’s equality in the film industry.
The 39-year-old actress wore a modest black long-sleeved sweater, a midi pink floral skirt, and a strappy black heel for her appearances.
Rosamund also opted to pull her hair back and showed off her simple jewelry.
Ben Affleck’s former Gone Girl co-star looked absolutely stunning. Her outfit was in sharp contrast to her transformation in her new drama which comes out next month. Her character follows the journey of a real-life war journalist at the frontlines of the Syrian war conflict.

The British star later joined more than 80 actresses and filmmakers at the British Film Institute’s London Film Festival. The event celebrated women’s equality and power in film – just like her upcoming role.
The BFI’s Instagram account shared the photo of all the women including Rosamund with the caption, “Today at the #LFF we united many of the talented female filmmakers premiering work at this year’s Festival, together with London film professionals to celebrate women in film!”
