Birthday bliss! Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are proud parents of their daughter Esmeralda who just turned one! The Hollywood couple celebrated with a small party for just friends and family.

There were only about 20 people on the guest list, which is unusually small for a Hollywood kid!

An eyewitness said, "It was a quiet and casual party, not the typical celebrity 1st birthday blowout with vendors and other celebrity guests.”

"It looked like it was just their simple style and more about family and close friends coming together to celebrate Esmeralda,” the source revealed.

Gifts were also kept low-key. “Some people brought wrapped gifts, including clothes and toys," the insider said. "One guest arrived carrying a rocking horse, and another had colorful plastic balls to fill a ball pit."
