Worried Love Coach! Ryan Gosling Urging Emma Stone To 'Be Careful' Dating Andrew Garfield

Rumor has it that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are getting back together, and sources say Ryan Gosling is stepping in to play the A-Lister's "love coach."

Insiders close to the situation tell Heat magazine that Gosling is advising his La La Land co-star to be careful. "After hearing about the constant ons and offs of their supposed tumultuous relationship, Ryan wants to make sure his friend's being careful this time around." Emma and Andrew dated for four years before allegedly splitting for the final time a year ago. It was only recently that the duo were tied together again.

"After spending hours discussing kids, marriage and her shaky love life on the La La Land set and press tour, Emma and Ryan have formed a very close bond," a source reveals to the publication. "Ryan is the only person who is straight up with her about it. He tells her exactly what is what."

The source adds, however, that "Ryan would never tell her who she should and should not date but as far as he's concerned she deserves the best."

Gosling, who is happily married to Eva Mendes and are parents to Esmeralda and Amanda, is a role model for the actress. "It's hard for Emma not to envy Ryan and his happy little family."

"Emma's biggest struggle is Andrew," the snitch continues to dish. "She really wants things to work but there were lots of reasons it didn't. Her work is mostly in LA while he chooses roles in far off places, and neither of them are willing to compromise. Emma is a workaholic and that can get in the way of relationship, but Ryan told her to be confident in herself and what she wants and to never let anyone mess her around."
