Sam Smith took a trip to New Zealand in early January to visit his manager, Jack Street, and his partner, Emma Champtaloup. While he was there the couple entrusted him with babysitting duty, only for the "Stay with Me" singer to cover the 1-year-old’s face in ice cream!
Sam, 26, strapped the infant to his chest for a casual outing in New Zealand. During the stroll, he gave the baby some ice cream, which ended up all over his face.
The baby seemed unbothered as he continued to sport a pink smile from the sweet treat.
Some of the ice cream ended up on the little one’s nose and the front of his outfit.

Fans stopped Sam and the messy toddler for a quick picture.
Emma also snapped a picture of her son’s sticky face.
