Sam Smith is nursing an injured eye. The singer shared the ordeal on Instagram and joked about his injury. He also shared a video of the moments leading up to the procedure. Keep reading for more details.
Sam had to have surgery for a stye.
He shared a picture of him with his eye covered and wrote, "Stye with me," in reference to his hit single "Stay With Me."
That wasn't the only joke the Grammy winner made about his situation. He posted a close up video of him showing off the stye and wrote, "single, sexy and sassy."

The British native documented the moments leading up to the procedure in his Instagram story.
He shared this selfie and said he was "f*****g scared" about the procedure before calling himself "super dramatic."
