Sarah Jessica Parker has no hard feelings towards Bette Midler! When the latter recently admitted she barely noticed Sarah and her costar Kathy Najimy “behind me” while filming Hocus Pocus, Sarah said she took no offense at the legendary actress’ diss.
During an interview with ET, Bette admitted to watching Hocus Pocus for the first time in 20 years.
"I had forgotten how good it was and how good everybody was, I mean, everybody. I mean, I didn’t realize what was going on behind me,” Bette said. “Those girls were carrying on something terrible, and the kids were great.”
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night, a caller asked Sarah Jessica how she felt about being one of the “girls in the back.”

Sarah Jessica, however, didn’t mind! "I was proud to be in her down wind! I’m thrilled,” she said.
The actress previously gushed over Bette during filming in 1993, telling ET at the time, "I think that Bette is nothing short of a genius. I really do. And she really is, truly, beyond amazingly talented, so professional and, like, a legend of sorts, you know?”
