Savannah Guthrie does not have time for silly questions, especially ones about her weight! When a fan suggested the Today co-host may be pregnant, Savannah clapped back and quickly shut down the body shamer!
“It is just the dress. Excuse me while I go burn it,” Savannah replied to a fan’s since-deleted post speculating that Savannah may be pregnant.
A fan then sent Savannah an image of women at various stages in their pregnancy. The question above the outlines of the women read, “When is it okay to ask a woman if she’s pregnant?” Beneath each woman was the word “no.”

Savannah also shared the image on Instagram, captioning it, “Excuse me while I spend the rest of the day on the elliptical.”
Savannah’s response gained so much attention that the Today show even posted a poll asking followers, “Is it ever okay to ask a woman if she’s expecting?” As of this morning, 81% of voters said no.
