Savannah Guthrie may be a powerful and well-respected journalist on television but she's powerless when it comes to her four-year-old daughter, Vale and her whims. Keep reading to hear more details of the two's cutesy-pie relationship.
Savannah posted a cute video on her Instagram with Vale trying to make a snack for the hot summer day. But Savannah didn't totally agree with the choice of treat.
It was the mommy-daughter battle of the decade! Vale was trying to make a wager with her mom to make her give her some ice cream.
The Today show anchor's oldest chid said in the clip, "Can I get ice cream today because it’s a hot, hot day? Yeah because it’s a hot, hot day. There’s steam!”
“There’s steam coming out from the swing park. There’s big straws and the smoke is coming out of them! And it’s sunny all around,” the toddler added. “So I want to have ice cream today, please? Because it’s a hot, hot day.”
The 46-year-old mommy of two captioned the post, "Melting... on this “hot hot day” ☀️? #toddlernegotiations." In the end, Savannah made the choice to "think about it." Maybe Vale will be granted her wish after all!
