As Scott Disick attempts to give rehab another go at a Malibu, California, facility, a friend of the reality TV star has revealed just how serious Disick is about getting his life together and saving his family!
Speaking to In Touch, the source said that Disick had been on the verge of a breakdown as he dealt with the fallout of his breakup with Kourtney Kardashian before checking into the rehab facility!
“He’d become a full-blown addict,” the source said. “Scott checked himself into rehab because he truly hit rock bottom.”
Disick has previously been open about his substance abuse issues. But the insider said his recent split with Kardashian caused him to backslide in a major way.

And just days before Lamar Odom’s overdose in Nevada, the source said Disick realized he needed to get his own issues worked out!
“He finally realized he was killing himself and said, ‘I’m ashamed and I miss my kids,’” the insider said.
The insider said Disick’s friends are now hopeful he is getting the help he needs. And the source claimed that Disick’s biggest inspiration to stick with the rehab program is his three kids. “He’s planning a fresh start after rehab and wants to move into a new home that’s family friendly,” the insider said. The source added that Disick "thinks he wants to win Kourtney back, too" and knows he won't have a chance to put his family in a better place "unless he sticks it out and gets the help he needs.” Do you think Scott will be able to get his issues under control?
