Before JoJo Fletcher’s appeared on The Bachelor, she was in a serious relationship with ex-boyfriend Chad Rookstool. While he seems like a halfway decent guy, RadarOnline.com has learned that the Dallas, Texas hairstylist has a very dark past!

According to police reports, Rookstool was arrested for theft on May 18, 2003. The Bachelorette star’s ex was working at Nordstrom in Frisco, Texas when he admitted to stealing $100 from his employer.

The reporting party saw Chad “ring up a refund on a pair of sunglasses valued at $90” but “not customer was present for the refund.” Minutes later, he allegedly returned to the register before removing cash from the drawer.

Once Rookstool was caught, he “removed (5) $20 bills from his front pocked and stated he has taken from the cash register.” He admitted he rang up a refund so it seemed like the money went to a customer.

“Rookstool said he took the money because he did not have money to pay his bills,” the report stated. “Rookstool stated he had taken money about five times,” including this incident.
