Everyone thinks the Kardashians are famous for their reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, what they don’t know is that their father, Robert Kardashian, carved their path to fame with his involvement in the O.J. Simpson murder case.
The one-time husband of Kris Jenner and father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob rose to fame when as long time friends with O.J. Simpson.
On Jun. 12. 1994, O.J.’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, was brutally stabbed to death in Brentwood, Calif.—leaving O.J. to be the prime suspect.
Shortly after the death, Rob invited O.J. to stay in his house. As stated in an O.J. Simpson tell-all book, Robert had to stop suicidal O.J. from killing himself in Kim and Kourtney’s bedroom.

Robert was not practicing law at the time but immediately reactivated his license to serve on O.J.’s famed legal team.
During the murder trial, Robert began to grow concerned for his childrens' safety after someone wrote "n*****-lover" on his car.
Kris, who was best friends with Nicole, believed O.J. was guilty, causing major tension in the family. Kim and Kourtney believed their dad, who told them their "uncle" was innocent.
Kris attended the murder trial in 1995 while she was pregnant with her daughter, Kendall Jenner.
On Oct. 3. 1995, O.J. was acquitted. After the trial, Rob and O.J.’s relationship was never the same.
