Selena Gomez may be quite petite, but she’s trying to keep up with the latest trends to make sure The Weeknd has no reason to look elsewhere. Unfortunately for her, her latest ploy backfired and caused her boyfriend to “hit the roof,” a source tells OK! exclusively.
The 24-year-old reportedly told him she wants to get a Brazilian butt lift, and he wasn’t thrilled. “He told her he’s totally 100 percent against her having any kind of surgery and insists he’s not a fan of big Kardashian-style booties,” adds the insider.
Considering his last girlfriend was Bella Hadid, who loses weight day by day, it isn’t too shocking that curvalicious ladies aren’t really his cup of tea. But it turns out Selena isn’t too fond of her booty, and “has been paranoid about it for years.”

And while she did take a belfie earlier this year, which surprised all of her millions of Instagram followers as she posed in a thong, for her, it was allegedly a huge deal as she “often wears padded underwear to give her a decent booty,” the source says.
So she was not expecting for The Weeknd to react so negatively to her butt-job plan and “she’s devastated he’s against it as it’s one of her big body hangups – but judging from his angry reaction it looks like she’s going to have to live with it if she wants to stay with him.”
