The 24-year-old singer, who suffers from Lupus, has taken the proactive step of freezing her eggs.
She has spoken openly in the past about her health crisis, bravely revealing that she had undergone chemotherapy to help battle the disease.
“Selena was advised to freeze her eggs before she started chemotherapy last year," a source told OKmagazine.com exclusively.

"It was for treatment against Lupus," the insider continued.
